Kansas Judge Scraps Several Pro-Life Laws Before Being Sworn in to State Supreme Court

District Judge Eric Fankhauser issued an order on Monday blocking several Kansas laws restricting abortion before his appointment to the Kansas Supreme Court took effect. The blocked laws included restrictions on abortion procedures and related regulations. Fankhauser was scheduled to be sworn in to the state Supreme Court following his appointment.
