Arizona’s Democratic Governor Set to Pick a Republican Running Mate

Gov. Katie Hobbs announced plans to select John Giles, former mayor of Mesa, Arizona, as her lieutenant governor running mate for her 2026 re-election campaign. Giles is a registered Republican.
