EA is now a private company

Electronic Arts completed its transition to private ownership on Tuesday following a $55 billion acquisition led by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners. The deal was first announced in September 2025. The Public Investment Fund will own 93.4 percent of the company according to EA's statement.
