Up to 150 ex-WHSmith High Street stores to close as rescue deal approved

A court approved a restructuring plan for WHSmith that will result in the closure of up to 150 High Street stores. The plan includes rent reductions on most of the remaining locations. WHSmith operates approximately 600 stores across the UK.
