Village People lead singer Victor Willis dead at 74

Victor Willis, lead singer of the disco group Village People, died on January 6, 2025, according to his family. He was 74 years old. The cause of his death was not disclosed. Willis fronted the band during its peak years in the late 1970s and early 1980s, when they released hit songs including "Y.M.C.A." and "Macho Man."
