Texans' Jalen Pitre named first-ever NFL Guardian Cap athlete in league history: 'Evolution of the game'

The league introduced the Guardian Cap as an optional piece of equipment in 2023 and officially approved it for game use in 2024. Pitre said the device represents "an evolution of the game."
