India’s New Closing Auction Sparks Second Nifty Jump on Expiry

India's NSE Nifty 50 Index moved sharply during its weekly derivatives expiry on the closing auction system. The index had also moved sharply during the previous week's expiry. The National Stock Exchange introduced the closing auction mechanism for weekly derivatives.
