Savary: Dollar Dominance to Remain for Decades

Mathieu Savary, Chief Strategist and Head of Fixed Income, Credit and Currencies at BCA Research, told Bloomberg that the US dollar is expected to remain the dominant global currency for decades. Savary's comments came after a joint US-Japanese intervention in foreign exchange markets. Market participants were monitoring whether the Japanese yen could strengthen beyond 155 per dollar, which analysts viewed as a key indicator for the strength of the yen's rally.
