Trump DOJ corners school district with 7-day ultimatum over trans policy keeping parents in the dark

The Department of Justice, led by Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, issued a notice to Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Maryland demanding the district change its policy on parental notification of student gender identity changes within seven days or face federal litigation. According to the DOJ, the current policy allows students to change their gender identity in school records without notifying parents. The school district has not yet publicly responded to the demand.
