USMNT agree to new contract with coach Mauricio Pochettino through 2030 World Cup as obvious theme emerges

Mauricio Pochettino signed a contract extension as manager of the U.S. Men's National Team through the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Pochettino took over the USMNT in September 2024 and led the team to a knockout-stage victory in the 2026 World Cup held in North America. The previous knockout win for the USMNT was in 2002.
