Son who kept mum's body in freezer for years collected £78k of her benefits

Christopher Phillips kept his mother Sylvia's body in a freezer after her death and collected approximately £78,000 in her benefits during the period her death went unreported. Phillips placed yellow and pink roses and a birthday card on her body in the freezer. The case was investigated and prosecuted by authorities, resulting in charges related to fraud and failing to report a death.
