Rare photos of ex-Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi give her family hope

Kim Aris, son of Aung San Suu Kyi, said photographs showing his mother meeting a foreign official gave him hope, according to NPR. Aung San Suu Kyi was ousted in a military coup in February 2021. The photographs marked the first public images of her since her detention.
