Milei’s Money Man Shuns Foreign Markets After Failed Bond Binge
Monday, August 3, 2026
Luis Caputo, Argentina's economy minister and top economic aide to President Javier Milei, has not issued any foreign bonds since returning to the role in 2023, a shift from his previous tenure as a finance official a decade ago when he sold more than $40 billion in overseas bonds.
