Kay Granger, first GOP woman from Texas to win House seat, dies at 83

Kay Granger, a Republican representative from Texas, died at age 83. Granger served as Fort Worth's mayor before being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, where she spent 28 years. She chaired the House Appropriations Committee.
