Nides Says Iran War Needs Negotiations

Former US Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides said there is no lasting military solution to the conflict with Iran and that renewed negotiations involving regional allies offer a path to addressing Tehran's nuclear program and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Nides also stated that regime change in Iran is not a practical near-term objective. Bloomberg reported that Nides said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces growing domestic political pressure as the conflict continues.
