WATCH: Booker continues to reject SAVE Act despite bombshell NJ voter roll scandal

Senator Cory Booker stated that the SAVE Act would not have prevented the New Jersey software error that resulted in approximately 6,600 noncitizens becoming eligible to vote. New Jersey election officials identified and corrected the error in their voter registration system. Booker has previously opposed the SAVE Act, which would require citizenship verification through the federal SAVE immigration database for voter registration eligibility.
