Warsh Considers Reducing Frequency of Fed Policy Meetings

Kevin M. Warsh, Federal Reserve chairman, is considering reducing the frequency of policy meetings below the current level of at least eight per year. Such a reduction would be the largest structural change made during Warsh's tenure as chairman. The Federal Reserve has maintained a meeting schedule of at least eight times annually for decades.
