Jack Smith's Senate phone records probe turns to Verizon's handling of subpoenas

Sen. Chuck Grassley and 15 other senators sent a letter to Verizon demanding the company explain its handling of a subpoena issued by special counsel Jack Smith for congressional phone records. The subpoena, part of an investigation labeled Arctic Frost, was not disclosed to the affected senators at the time it was served. Verizon has not publicly responded to the senators' demands.
