Trump Casts Doubt on New Iran Negotiations as War Drags On

Retired Army General Wesley Clark said Iran views the conflict with the United States as existential and that targeting Iranian oil refineries alone would be insufficient to force Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps surrender, particularly given increased support from Russia and China to Iran. Clark, who served as Supreme Allied Commander Europe, added that the more the US pursues negotiations, the stronger Iran's negotiating position becomes. Bloomberg reported Clark made these statements.
