Here’s the problem with putting an AI image generator in Google Earth

Google integrated an AI image generation feature into Google Earth that uses satellite, aerial, and 3D imagery as input. Digital Digging researcher Henk van Ess used the tool to generate images depicting "refugees near the Mexican border" and a bomb crater near a hospital in Gaza. Google acknowledged the generated images in a statement to Digital Digging.
