U.S. Raises Threat of Steep Water Cuts in Lower Colorado River Basin

The plan establishes automatic reduction percentages tied to Lake Mead water elevation levels. Arizona would face cuts of up to 21 percent, California up to 15 percent, and Nevada up to 25 percent in the driest scenarios.
