Reddit is testing a new way to watch — and listen to — its viral posts

Reddit is developing a video feature that allows users to watch or listen to popular posts, according to CEO Steve Huffman. The company is designing the tool to pair Reddit content with video or audio, similar to formats used on other platforms. Huffman said testing of the feature could begin later in 2026.
