Anti-Trump senator defeated by far-left rival after heated gubernatorial primary

Senator Michael Bennet and Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser competed in Colorado's Democratic primary for governor on Tuesday, seeking to replace term-limited Governor Jared Polis. Weiser won the primary. The general election will take place in November.
