Chiefs coordinator Eric Bieniemy's son won't face court until mental health evaluation after shooting mother

Elijah Bieniemy, son of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, will not proceed to court until undergoing a mental health evaluation, according to court filings. Elijah Bieniemy is accused of shooting his mother Mia at their Ashburn home. His public defender stated that Bieniemy suffers from significant mental health issues.
