Father who bought AR-15 for Georgia school shooter learns fate in first-of-its-kind conviction

Colin Gray, the father of the shooter in the Apalachee High School shooting, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after a jury convicted him of providing the AR-15 used in the attack. Gray had given the rifle to his son despite being aware of mental health concerns involving the boy. The case marked the first parental conviction of this type under Georgia law.
