Dulles Airport’s Reviled ‘People Movers’ May Be Lurching Into the Sunset

Dulles International Airport's automated people movers, which transport passengers between terminals and aircraft, may be removed as part of a $22.5 billion airport redesign plan. The vehicles, introduced in the 1960s, were designed to improve airport efficiency. The redesign plan has not yet been approved or funded.
