Big Tech’s A.I. Spending Keeps Rising. So Do the Jitters.

Amazon increased its capital expenditures by 69 percent, joining other major technology companies in raising spending on artificial intelligence infrastructure. The company did not disclose the specific dollar amount allocated to A.I. in its most recent financial report. Other technology companies including Microsoft, Google, and Meta have similarly increased their capital spending in recent quarters.
