Supreme Court Allows States to Bar Transgender Athletes From Girls’ Sports

The Supreme Court declined to block enforcement of West Virginia and Idaho laws that prohibit transgender female athletes from competing on girls' sports teams. The decision allows both states to implement their restrictions. Twenty-five other states have enacted similar laws restricting transgender female athletes from women's sports teams.
