Meta is adding ridiculous ‘rate limits’ and a soft paywall to its smart glasses

Meta announced that its Conversation Focus feature on Ray-Ban smart glasses will be limited to three hours of use per month starting an unspecified date, unless users pay $19.99 monthly for a Meta One Premium subscription. The company made the announcement this week without advance notice. Conversation Focus uses artificial intelligence to filter out background noise during calls. The subscription will also include other premium features for Meta's smart glasses and AI services.
