Capital culture war heats up as GOP lawmaker targets DC schools over Old Glory snub

Senator Ashley Moody introduced legislation titled the PLEDGE Act that would require American flags in every classroom and daily Pledge of Allegiance recitation in Washington, D.C. schools. The bill was introduced in response to reports that some D.C. schools had not displayed flags in classrooms.
