Kamala Harris' new $8M mansion is in a neighborhood with virtually no Black residents

Vice President Kamala Harris purchased an $8 million property in Malibu, California. According to 2020 census data, the census tract containing the property is 94% White and 0.2% Black. Harris has held positions focused on housing policy and criminal justice, including as California Attorney General and San Francisco District Attorney.
