Anthropic’s long-sidelined Fable 5 is greenlit to return

Anthropic announced that the Department of Commerce lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 and Mythos, according to a post on X. The company said it plans to begin restoring access to the models tomorrow. Anthropic had previously suspended access to these models following earlier export control restrictions.
