Salman Rushdie’s Attacker Found Guilty of Aiding a Foreign Terror Group

Hadi Matar was found guilty of providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization in connection with the August 2022 stabbing of author Salman Rushdie at a literary event in Chautauqua, New York. Matar stabbed Rushdie multiple times during the attack. He faces a potential life sentence.
