Cannabis cafes may become tourist draw in US city as lung experts cite 'toxic chemical' concerns

San Francisco's Board of Supervisors voted to allow Amsterdam-style cannabis cafés at licensed retailers where customers can consume cannabis while eating food and drinking nonalcoholic beverages. The American Lung Association stated that cannabis smoke contains harmful chemicals and raised concerns about secondhand exposure in enclosed spaces. The cafés will operate under city regulations for cannabis retail establishments.
