ING Nears SRTs on $10 Billion of Loans Including AI-Linked Debt

ING Groep NV is using significant risk transfers to hedge credit risk on approximately $10 billion of loans. Significant risk transfers, known as SRTs, allow banks to move loan risk to other investors, freeing regulatory capital for additional lending. Banks globally have increased their use of these instruments in recent periods.
