Serena Williams drops Wimbledon comeback match to 20-year-old Maya Joint after four-year absence

Serena Williams lost to Maya Joint in her first singles match since 2022 at Wimbledon. Joint, 20, defeated Williams in the opening round on Centre Court. Williams had last competed in singles play in 2022 and had not played at Wimbledon since 2019.
