Daughter of late House Dem forced into runoff after falling short in special election

Marcye Scott and Gwinnett County school board chair Everton Blair Jr. advanced to an August 25 runoff in Georgia's 13th Congressional District after neither secured more than 50 percent in the special election. Scott is the daughter of the late Representative. The runoff will determine who fills the House seat.
