FIFA announced a plan to sell minority stakes in World Cup commercial rights to investors, including a firm operated by Joshua Kushner. The arrangement would generate revenue through the sale of portions of the tournament's commercial licensing and broadcasting rights. Joshua Kushner is the brother of Jared Kushner, who served as senior advisor to former President Donald Trump.
