Blue Jackets head coach says he's as shocked as anyone about Zach Werenski wanting out of Columbus

Blue Jackets head coach Rick Bowness said he was not informed in advance that defenseman Zach Werenski would request a trade. Werenski, who won the Norris Trophy as the NHL's top defenseman, submitted his trade request weeks after receiving the award. Bowness told reporters he learned of the request at the same time as the public.
