New airliner sets record flying 24 hrs nonstop from Australia to France

Qantas Airways completed a nonstop flight from Australia to France lasting 24 hours, according to the airline. The flight was part of Project Sunrise, Qantas's initiative to establish long-haul routes between Australia and Europe. Qantas has stated it plans to begin regular service on such routes in 2027.
