Japan mall rebuilt after deadly 2016 earthquake destroyed in major temblor weeks after 'fresh start' reopening

An explosion occurred at Aeon Mall in Kumamoto weeks after the facility reopened following damage from a 2016 earthquake. Up to 30 employees were unaccounted for following the incident. The cause of the explosion has not been confirmed.
