Logitech will pull a Nintendo — only European mice will come with replaceable batteries

Logitech announced it will make wireless mice with user-replaceable batteries available in Europe beginning February 2027, when EU regulations requiring replaceable batteries take effect, but will not offer this feature in other markets. The company's approach mirrors Nintendo's decision to sell a Switch 2 model with a replaceable battery exclusively in Europe. Logitech did not announce plans to sell the replaceable-battery mice in North America, Asia, or other regions outside Europe.
