IndyCar unveils new car coming in 2028 to replace current generation after 15-year-run

IndyCar announced the IR-28 chassis will replace the current generation vehicle in 2028. The new car features a lighter design, twin-turbo V6 engines, and an enhanced hybrid powertrain. The current IndyCar generation has been in use for 15 years.
