Colombia Raises Interest Rate to 12% After Court Ends Crisis

Colombia's central bank raised its benchmark interest rate to 12 percent. A Colombian court had previously ruled that the government could not block monetary policy decisions by the central bank. The rate increase followed a presidential election.
