Tuesday, June 30, 2026
National parks have been linked to health benefits in research studies. A study published in the journal Scientific Reports found that visits to green spaces were associated with increased physical activity and lower stress levels. The National Park Service reported approximately 312 million recreation visits to U.S. national parks in 2022.
