PSA: your Claude shared chats and Artifacts may have ended up on Google

Claude users discovered that shared conversations and interactive documents created on Claude.ai were publicly indexed by Google search engines. Reddit users found that Google search operators like "site:claude.ai/share" returned results containing shared conversations, some of which included health records and other private information. Anthropic, Claude's creator, did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the scope of the exposure or steps taken to address it.
