Oregon ballot measure that would have criminalized hunting and fishing fails to qualify for vote

Oregon's IP28 ballot initiative fell approximately 13,000 voter signatures short of the required threshold to appear on the ballot. The measure would have made hunting and fishing criminal offenses. Campaign organizers indicated they plan to continue pursuing the initiative.
