PAYTON MCNABB: Girls deserve fair competition, and the Supreme Court just agreed
Tuesday, June 30, 2026
The Supreme Court declined to hear challenges to laws in Idaho and West Virginia that restrict transgender girls and women from competing on sports teams matching their gender identity. Legal challenges to these and similar state laws in other jurisdictions remain pending in lower courts.
