Barrick Evacuates Chile Workers by Helicopter After Storm

Barrick Mining Corp. evacuated workers from its Barriales camp in northern Chile by helicopter after severe storms blocked road access to the site. The company said all workers were safely removed. Road conditions prevented ground transportation from the camp.
