Jackson accuses Thomas of echoing infamously racist court decision in birthright citizenship clash

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote that Justice Clarence Thomas's position on birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment echoes reasoning from the Dred Scott decision. Thomas had argued against automatic citizenship for children born to noncitizen parents.
